In September 2021, a Cooperation Agreement was formalized between the Vientiane City Office for Management and Service (VCOMS)and Small b Investment Consultant Company. This partnership aims to restructure and elevate the standard of garbage collection services across more than 190 villages in Vientiane Capital.
As part of this initiative, the project also oversees the management and development of a landfill system spanning approximately 500 hectares, with 100 hectares currently operational and processing over 500 tons of waste daily.
All activities are carried out under the “Vientiane Waste Collaboration and Development Project”, commonly referred to as “Vientiane Waste CO-DEV”.
Vientiane Waste CO-DEV envisions establishing a new standard for garbage collection services, contributing to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable society.
